Effective 2 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Vidira for use of the Vidira app. By downloading or using Vidira, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Vidira is a reading app for EPUB and PDF books, with optional AI features (“Dig deeper”, Ask, Quiz, Summarize, and coaching). Reading and basic AI features are free; some features require a Vidira Plus subscription.
Free reading needs no account. Vidira Plus requires signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign‑in secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to subscribe.
Use Vidira only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse‑engineer the service, circumvent usage limits, or use it to infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for having the right to read and process any content you add to the app.
You keep all rights to the books, notes, and highlights you add. They stay on your device. When you use an AI feature, you grant us a limited licence to transmit the specific text or image you submit, and necessary context, to our AI providers solely to generate your response.
Vidira, its name, logo, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks or software except to use the app as intended.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Vidira. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Vidira relies on Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and AI providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
You may stop using Vidira and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms.
This agreement is between you and Vidira only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not responsible for any product warranties or claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules, except where your local consumer‑protection law grants you mandatory rights.
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and continued use means you accept the update.
